Now, because I want to practise my writing skill, so I write this post in English. I hope anyone who read it will enjoy and understand what I’m trying to tell.
ColdI got cold just because I walked under the rain, not for a long time, perhaps it was only 5 minutes, but the effect lasted for more than 3 days. I got sore throat, cold and fever and I spent the holiday in my room, ‘cause I didn’t have the energy to go anywhere. Poor me.
The Mysterious Benedict SocietyIt’s the title of an adventure kids novel (but it’s quite thick, more

than 500 pages). The story is about a society that led by Mr. Benedict and his assistants to fight against his twin brother, Mr. Curtain. But the main characters are 4 kids. These 4 kids act as if they were a detective team in a secret mission. Each of them has their own special character, different background and their own fear. This story is easy to understand because the main characters are just kids, with the clear plot and some puzzles that not confusing.
It is the book that I read when I was sick and had to stay on my bed. And I finished it at once. I even postponed reading Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr (Eragon series) that given by my friends. Sorry guys… ^-^
Laisheng YuanRecently, I always listen to this song. I got this song from Wira, but he didn’t know who the singer is. I became more and more curious, because I think I had heard this song once when I was a kid, but I wasn’t really sure. So, if I need to know the singer or the title of a Chinese song, there’s one person who can be asked about this kind of information, Anni. Yes, I asked her, then I got the name of the singer, it’s Andy Lau. Thank you, Anni.
The Nanny
Finally, I finished watching all episodes of this sitcom. All the 6 seasons with one additional episode (“A Nosh To Remember”). I really love this sitcom. I can laugh out loud in my room while I was watching it. And I can play it one more time and still laugh at the same jokes (really, this sitcom is really funny, or there’s something wrong with me.. hehe)
From the very beginning when the kids were still little until they grew older, it’s around six years ya. It’s a little bit sad when I watched the final episode, not because it was a sad one, but because I still want to watch one more episode (and more and more). Hmm…
The Way We WereIt is Barbra Streisand’s song that often mentioned in The Nanny, especially in the last scene of the last episode. That’s why I often play this song in my winamp, because (somehow I think) it brings back old memories.
Turn Left, Turn RightWhat if the one that you love, the one that you’re looking for all this time is just living near you?

But when you turn to the left, that one turns to the right. If you run this way, that one walks that way.
It’s the theme of the film ‘Turn Left, Turn Right’ – (向左走·向右走), starring Takeshi Kaneshiro and Gigi Leung. They both were friend when they’re still young, but then they separate. Although they live in the same apartment building, but don't meet. Because when they leave, one turns left and the other turns right.
I watched it on last week-end, after download it from youtube, part by part (the total is 10 part). Although I don’t know what they’re saying (it’s in) but I can understand a little by their gesture or their acting.
A song that I remember from this film is ‘
Yu Jian’ – (遇见), sung by Stephanie Sun. I got this song from Wira (around 4 years ago). And this song is sung in Cantonese in the film, so it’s different with the one that I have (so what?? ^^)
Parting and ComingLast week, my brother left our house because he had to take training for his new job, and after the training finished, he had to live far from home, so there is only three persons live in our house (and it will be two, because my second sister will move to another city). Geez, once there were 8 people dwelt in that house, then 7 (dad passed away), and then 6 (because I moved), then 5 (mom), then 4 (my third sister moved too), and now three people. My fourth sister said it seems so empty now, and I can understand with her feeling. Sigh…
Then my first sister came to Jakarta though only for 2 days. I just met her for a couple of hour then we part because she had an occasion with her colleagues. Just a couple of hour, then we said good-bye. I could not meet her the day after, because it’s work day. When we’re afar, we wish we could meet, but when we’re near, we can’t even meet for a longtime.
I think that’s all for my story. I’ll update it next time.. Zaijian
